Jicama “Fries”

Jicama “Fries”

By March 27, 2015

This is a GREAT snack from Lana, a fellow 4 Hour Body Recipes reader. It couldn't be simpler, but it has a tasty salty-tangy-crunch that can satisfy a potato chip craving... at least until cheat day 🙂

  • Prep Time : 5 minutes
  • Cook Time : 1 minutes
  • Yield : 2 servings

Ingredients

  • jicama - 1 large, cut into sticks
  • lime - 1 lime, cut in half
  • salt - to taste (preferably sea salt)
  • cayenne - to taste

Instructions

Lay the jicama sticks out on a plate so they're mostly in one layer. Squeeze the lime over the jicama sticks (use half for a small jicama, the full lime for a large one). Sprinkle the salt to taste. Sprinkle the cayenne to taste (NOTE: if cayenne is too spicy for you, you can substitute paprika).

Lana suggests: "Eat it like chips or fries!"
